SEMANTIC TECHNOLOGY FOR
INTELLIGENCE, DEFENSE, AND SECURITY

The Best Paper Award is presented to the authors of the paper chosen by the STIDS 2012 awards committee as the best contribution appearing in the conference proceedings. The winner of the award will be announced by Dr. Daniel Maxwell at a special session on Thursday, October 25. The award is a check in the value of US$450, and is meant to recognize the excellence of our technical program and contributors, as well as to promote the continuing efforts of our community to push forward the state of the art in Semantic Technologies for Intelligence, Defense, and Security.

KaDSci, LLC is pleased to support the STIDS best paper competition. Founded in 2008 with the goal of finding and providing solutions to the nation's and industries most vexing decision related research, technology, and analysis challenges we at KaDSci know that collaboration between industry and academia is the key to success.

The best paper award committee is formed by members of the STIDS 2012 Program Committee that are not only recognized experts in the field, but who also have no involvement or conflict of interests with the authors of the papers accepted for publication at STIDS 2012.
